Hi there and welcome to my site. My name is Guðmundur Óli, but I go by a number of nicknames and aliases, all depending on where you know me from and what language you speak =)
I am Icelandic, born and raised.
This blog is going to be centered around my travels and photography.
My travels:
Traveling became a passion of mine during a year long student exchange in Argentina. I lived with the most amazing people that always made me feel a part of the family. I got to know so many different characters and experience a whole new world. Their culture and habits along with their language really turned my view on life upside down. From there on I have been focused on broadening my horizon and experiencing new things. This lead to me doing another exchange. The second one was in the United States where I spent a year studying at Whittier College in California. Most of the content on this site so far has been centered around my four and a half month trip around the world, visiting fifteen countries in four continents.
My photography:
In 2008 I got my first DSLR camera and I have shooting on an on and of basis. Doing a 365 PAD project in 2012 really got my artistic bone humming like never before and now I am trying to improve with every day. Please stop by my Flickr site, the link is at the top.
